2024 Retreat Testimonials....
"Jackie and Ruth are great teachers, super skilled at what they do, leading the weekend to create one brilliant experience after another. Wild swimming, art creation and yoga, surrounded by fabulous people, delicious food and a gorgeous space to enjoy it all in."
"If you’ve never been on a retreat, try it! If you’ve been on retreat, you’ve never been on one like this, try it! But not before I’ve booked my place! "

"What I’ve really loved is how I’ve felt since. I’ve felt so positive, uplifted and creative. It’s sent my brain off in so many directions, it’s like I’ve unlocked a creative super power that’s been hidden for a while, I’m excited about how inspired I am and where this might take me. Too soon to say life changing.....but maybe…."
Jackie and Ruth are great friends who love an outdoor adventure. A shared love for wild swimming, camping, creativity and mindful movement has lead us to dream up a weekend combining all of our favourite things….
And we would love you to join us.

As creative collaborators, we are excited to interweave our individual expertise with a light touch and playful approach. The focus will be on having fun together!
Together we will make artworks from our immediate environment. Clay is a fantastic material, easily accessible, expressive, tactile and calming. Mindful meditation and movement practices will help you to reconnect to the natural environment. A relaxed body and mind enables your creativity to flow unimpeded by your inner critic.
Our aim is to be completely inclusive. No experience of yoga, meditation or art is needed. You will be sensitively guided by two experienced teachers to move and create with a sense of playfulness. Through deep connection with both yourself and the natural world our wish is for you to take home a feeling of fullness and vibrancy that will sustain you in your busy lives.
A profound experience... I felt sad to leave such a strong beautiful tribe of women but also felt a renewed sense of belonging and a huge pride in the art we created together."
"Thank you to Jackie and Ruth for such a fabulous weekend of nourishment from inside and out. I felt quite empowered coming by myself and camping. It was just what i needed and what a marvellous bunch of inspiring people! "
"Well organised from start to finish. Beautiful natural setting with a warm welcome. Skilled facilitators who have perfected their crafts. Delicious, wholesome food made and served with love. Arrived as a stranger left having made new friends."

The Venue
We will be camping in an idyllic wildflower meadow in a secluded valley in Dolanog, near Welshpool. A river runs through the campsite where you are welcome to take a dip (optional!). The campsite has excellent facilities, rain showers, loos and a Mediterranian style camp kitchen; although all of your meals will be provided. Immersed in nature in this way, we can experience it as a resource to sustain and nurture, as well as to inspire us.
